What Do The Different Statuses On My Account Mean?

Change history

Current text as recorded

This article is intended to help schools understand the meaning of the statuses when reviewing student enrollments and setting tuition & fees.

Enrollment Request Statuses:

To verify enrollment requests, you must click on [Accept Students] or [Review Students]. Once there, you will see two different statuses for each student: Application Status and Enrollment Status.

Statuses and their Meaning:

  • Application Status
Reflects the status of the student's Odyssey application

    Statuses

    What do the statuses mean?

    Eligible

This means that the student qualifies for the program. Eligibility does not equal approval or funding for the program.

    Under Review

This means that the Odyssey Manual Review Team is verifying the application to determine if it is eligible or not.

    Ineligible

This means that the student does not qualify for the program. You do not need to review enrollment requests for students with this status.

    Closed

This means that the Odyssey Team had to close the account so the parent could reapply—this usually happens when an error was made during the initial application. You do not need to review enrollment requests for students with this status.

    Approved - Awaiting Opt-In

This means that the student is approved and must complete the opt-in process. This status will be visible after accounts are approved.

    Approved

This means that the student has opted into the program and will be receiving funds. This status will be visible after accounts are approved.

    Opted Out

This means that the student has opted out of the program and will not be receiving funds for the program year.  This status will be visible after accounts are approved.

    Enrollment Status
Reflects the status of the student's enrollment request with your school.

    Statuses

    What do the statuses mean?

    Pending

This means that you must review the enrollment request and determine if the student will be attending your school.

    Verified

This means that you’ve determined the student will be attending your school.

    Denied

This means that you’ve determined the student will not be attending your school.

    Closed

This means the student has switched to a different school.

You should focus on reviewing students with a Pending Enrollment Status and, for now, an Eligible or Under Review status

Setting Tuition & Fees Statuses:

You can set tuition and fees for a student only after verifying their enrollment request. To do so, you must click on [Tuition Fees] or [Enter Tuition & Fees]. There, you'll see the Application Status (refer to the descriptions above) and the Annual Tuition Status.

Annual Tuition Status

Reflects the status of the tuition amount.

Pending

This means that you have not yet set tuition & fees for the student.

Pending Tuition Confirmation

This means that you've set tuition & fees for the student, but the parent hasn't reviewed the amount yet. While in this status, you are able to edit the amount.

Tuition Confirmed

This means that the parent has confirmed the tuition amount.

Tuition Not Confirmed

This means that the parent has denied the tuition amount. Because of this, you will get the option to edit and resubmit the tuition amount.

Paid

This means the funds for this payment have been transferred to your school.
